Holiday Inn Portland - Columbia Riverfront By Ihg – Hotel near airport in Portland

My stay at the hotel was a mixed experience. The location added a bit of a resort feel with beautiful views of the river, but the noise from the nearby I5 was a bit annoying. The service was friendly and courteous, yet there were some issues with cleanliness in the rooms. Dining was somewhat disappointing, lacking in options for families with children.

The hotel offers very spacious and modern rooms, but the surroundings overlooking the parking lot with homeless individuals can be unsettling at night. The service is inconsistent, with some staff being rude and unhelpful while others, like Nikki, stand out positively. The location is lovely and quiet, though a bit far from downtown Portland, requiring transportation. The dining experience is perfect, especially with a hot custom breakfast and a view of the Columbia River. Overall, the facilities are satisfactory with some minor issues.
